MF Soldano FX3 is a preset for Fractal AXE-FX III based on the legendary Soldano SLO-100 — the amp that redefined high-gain guitar tone and became the secret weapon of icons like Eric Clapton, Mark Knopfler, Lou Reed, and countless rock and metal legends.
The SLO-100 (Super Lead Overdrive) was hand-built by Mike Soldano starting in 1987. Its cascading preamp gain stages deliver an unmatched combination of articulation, compression, and raw power — from pristine cleans to crushing lead tones that cut through any mix.
